This facility is absolutely phenomenal, and I am a tough customer. Here's what I like about it: each one of the rehab. rooms is private (that's a rarity), every room has a large screen t.v., the patient has his or her own bathroom, and the patient can independently control the temperature in their own room. The staff is more pleasant than other facility where my family member has been a patient. The grounds are well-kept, and I definitely would not consider placing my loved one in any other facility. Throughout the years, I have been to visit a few friends in different care facilities. None are perfect but Fort Walton Beach Rehab is by far the best. It’s clean, there isn’t an odor, the employees are nice and the care is great. When I’m asked where someone should go, I do not hesitate before recommending this facility.
When my brother's health rapidly deteriorated and he needed care in a SNF, the staff at FWB Rehab assisted in completing the forms to request Medicaid assistance on his behalf and expedite his admission. Numerous people have been helpful and kind beyond the scope of doing their jobs: Bri & Cintay (sp ?) in Admissions, Rhonda & Patrice in the Business Office, and nurses Tara and Deja. These and others who's names I can't readily recall have been a blessing to my family in their ability to compassionately care for my brother.
Patients waiting too long to be helped specially those who are alone reason of disturbing yelling calling their nurse
I left a rating of this place a few months ago. I didn’t given an explanation of why, just rated. I didn’t feel the need to as my rating was enough. Yesterday I got a review for my business by a fishy spam account I noticed was linked to here. That being said, watch your reviews on your own businesses. This rehab center is retailating on people that don’t leave 5 . Not only are they being negligent with patients, they are also leaving false reviews.
