My father lived at Forestview Retirement Centre from Nov 30 to April 29, starting in Independent Living and moving to Assisted Living on Feb 8 as his dementia rapidly progressed. While he was initially assessed as appropriate for Independent Living, his condition quickly declined with worsening confusion, frequent falls, weight loss, swallowing concerns, and increasing need for 1:1 supervision. I have just moved my mother to Forestview, initially on an assisted living program following a hip replacement and then to independent living. Diana was amazing to deal with and so is everyone else that works there. Mom is loving it and everybody is extremely friendly.
My mother moved in while we were away on vacation and the experience was fabulous! She was well looked after and the staff treated her very well! Thank you Diana and Dulce! Would definitely do it again if needed.
I can’t say enough about Forestview! The staff go above and beyond in terms of care. The staff are warm, friendly, approachable and resident safety is top priority. The suites are comfortable, the food is good and the activities, outings and special events make this place feel like “home.” This is a great place and I would highly recommend it.
