Last summer we held our annual family reunion at Forest Lake Camp. We had a fantastic time! The camp is in a beautiful setting, the facilities are great and the staff are outstanding. The owner (Geoff) was super responsive during the planning process and helped us tailor a week designed for our group of 40 adults and children. Geoff and his crew are beyond expert at making fun out of every activity. Last year they put together a family camp week for our 30 some family members from 1 to 82 years old. Besides all the on-site facilities, we had bus trips to boating, rafting and more swimming.
Our daughter spent 5 weeks at FLC this summer and she had an amazing time! Everyone from her cabin mates to her counsellors were so warm and welcoming and the camp has a real family feel. FLC is all about connection with nature and with each other - things sorely lacking in today's overly IT/online world! I found the staff to be incredibly responsive, caring and highly experienced. My daughter also loved the inter-session camping trip to Lake Placid which was an unexpected bonus! We will be back for many summers to come!
Forest Lake Camp (FLC) is such a majestic and beautiful place! We organized a weekend retreat for our young people, and FLC simply went above and beyond our expectations. We had a conversation of our vision, and they went out of their way to design a super fun, physically challenging, and educational itinerary full of competitions, trivia, rock climbing, hatchet throwing, lake activities and more.
