DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!! I recently received four CDs from footlight which I had actually purchased 9 months ago!! When it came the packaging looked like it was put together by a child and there was a definite odor of urine. AND upon opening the package there were multiple fecal stains on each of the CD cases!!! I managed to open a case and attempted to play one but alas!!! IT WOULD NOT PLAY. I tried to contact the seller but get no response. Please go somewhere else for your broadway shows. Nothing to do with the original Footlight store. Operated out of a house with nothing but bootlegged CD-rs and DVD-rs. Poor, poor quality. AVOID.
I ordered three CDs of shows unavailable elsewhere. One, Kern’s Sweet Adeline, is adequate, if a pirated recording. Two, Rodgers and Hart’s Present Arms, is pure cacophony, badly played and sung by amateurs, a nasty experience. It can’t even be a pirated recording. Three, A Mother’s Kisses, is merely a jumble, unlistenable. Please, please avoid this company. They have nothing to do with the late Footlight Records in New York.
