Due to being sick—especially in the evenings—I was initially reluctant to sign up for birthing classes. However, this class came highly recommended by a coworker whose opinion I truly value, so I decided to give it a try. The value, empowerment, and confidence this class has given me have been truly invaluable. My husband and I have already completed the seven prenatal classes and plan to return for the four postpartum sessions with the amazing community of moms and dads we’ve gotten to know. Avoid this group if you are considering an epidural; they provide false and misleading information about the procedure alongside activities that intend to dissuade pregnant people from making this choice. Our instructor had also not completed the FCEA certification program (contrary to promises on the website), or any other education on childbirth, other than attending births as an uncertified doula.
My husband and I took the Labor Prep Series/Breastfeeding class with Jenni after being recommended by our midwife and it was an invaluable experience! The information she provided to prepare us for labor and delivery was incredibly thorough and informative. We definitely recommend this class to all parents-to-be!
My husband and I participated in labor classes with Jenni as our instructor and our experience was invaluable. As first time parents, we did not know what to expect and these classes were engaging, informative, welcoming to all of our questions, and ultimately prepared us for a positive, empowering birthing experience. We're so grateful for this organization and their dedication to our community - especially Jenni!
It has taken me over a year to write this review! It's hard to find the words to describe the class or Krista adequately. The class and Krista are AMAZING! I cannot recommend it and the breastfeeding class enough! I learned so much and felt incredibly prepared and supported. Krista is nothing short of amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, kind, helpful and a selfless human being. The friendships from class have been a much-needed support and the knowledge invaluable. Take. The. Class. ☺
