During the consultation phase, Ms. Foote notified me that I could qualify for Legal Aid in which she would accept. I hadn't started the process but I did receive a legal aid certificate which she then denied claiming that my case was "too complicated" and that her firm didn't have enough resources to take on my case with a certificate. She issued a notice of change of representation immediately and billed me for it without even consulting with me. Jessica believed me when no other firm in Orangeville wanted to represent me. When the ocl investigation confirmed everything I had been advocating for, Jessica and her team fought even harder to get the best outcome for my children.
