My wife and I bought a cake from the Visalia Food Maxx today to celebrate the completion of time on active duty in the United States Navy and for the baby shower for our first child. Upon receipt of the cake, it was written as "Congratulations David and Julia Knew Beginnings" instead of "new beginnings". Not a huge deal and slightly humorous, but I did expect better from Food Maxx.

My cashier was extremely rude. After the transaction I said Thank you very much, and have a nice day to Susie (Clerk #51521). At which point she just smugly glared at me with this somewhat perturbed look like she just hated life and everyone else in it. My first time here, and now most definitely my last, I'll continue to drive across town to Winco Foods. At least they seem happy to have your business. Word of advice to Foodmaxx management, tell Susie to lighten up a little and to practice proper customer service.
