The foodland in my previous town was excellent. However I find this one to be lacking in some of their produce and customer service. For free unsolicited opinions please take into consideration retraining/training the staff on being helpful and in a better disposition. Thought it was a one off by a couple different staff members on different days but I have been in the store a few dozen times now and it seems to be the work culture. And don’t get me started on their celery.
Updating my review because the accessibility of this store is just not it. Recently went in to grab a few things, with my baby in a stroller. There is only ONE check out that is big enough to push the stroller through. When I asked the lady what happens when someone comes in who is on a wheelchair or with a walker, or any form of aid. Her reply was, "we take them to the other cash." Lovely team here, everyone is small-town friendly. Tight spaces though, and don't expect the variety you see in the big box stores. Just groceries, flowers, and a selection of beer and wine. No public washroom.
