Update: it's getting worse. This used to be a good store. In the last year it has been taken over by new owners/managers and since that time it's gone downhill quickly. The shelves are often lacking stock, past due dates, incorrect pricing on shelf vs scanned price (they refuse to adhere to the Scanning Code), and scales at checkouts are inaccurate and inconsistent.
A couple of the female staff are rude and spiteful; it makes it quite unpleasant and puts me off returning here.
Called in to Hove Foodland today for some bananas and was pleasantly surprised by how well the food is presented , store ease to get around and cleanliness not to mention the value for money . Support Local !
