We are vacationers and we came by foodland for for sushi and poke. My sister bought over 100 dollars worth of poke and We bought some sushi. and there was the tiniest portion of wasabi included. We wanted a bit of extra wasabi. The lady at the sushi counter refused to give us any extra wasabi. Said we had to buy more sushi. Its already in there. Foodland poke was the perfect easy and reasonably priced dinner! We got two spicy ahi tuna poke bowls for around $17 total and grabbed them to eat later. They held up great in the fridge and absolutely hit the spot. Delicious, convenient, and one of the best values we found in Hawaii!.
Like everyone says, the poke is pretty great. Got there around noon and there was a bit of a line, but it was manageable (probably ten minutes). We got some by the pound instead of the bowl and the range was about $11-$14 per pound based on that you get. We got three different half pound selections and it was more than enough for two people (we had leftovers). We’d gone the day before in the evening and they had run out, so plan accordingly.
