I had a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience at Foodies IGA today. I entered the store around 10 minutes before closing, and a bald Asian male staff member immediately told me to hurry because the store “shuts at 9pm,” despite there still being time left to shop and other customers still present. Just got home from the shops to enjoy a nice soft French cheese only to find it’s got black mould on it. Had to go all the way back and not even an apology for the inconvenience. Having read some of the other reviews, I see this is a common issue with this store. In addition to that, I have been unable to use my rewards points as there is no online method to generate a new PIN. The wife of the manager took my name and number to call me back with a solution almost a week ago and hasn’t bothered to call.
