Louisa has some of the most unpleasant people working as cashier's and the teenagers they put as Supervisors. They are rude and have not been trained well at ALL!!!
food lion is the only grocery store in the small town i live in. so i a captive audience! but there are others a short drive away. still i prefer food lion. the prices are good, the selection gets better every week. the staff is friendly professional knowledgeable & helpful. the store is always clean & well organized. what else could anyone want?
Excellent department managers in every department . The deli manager really has her hands full with such short staff but she's really helpful. The dairy associate is always in a great mood and helps me with the heavy stuff. The produce manager is very knowledgeable about produce.. It's just such a great place to shop with very good prices compared to elsewhere.

I disagree that this grocery store has everything you need. Since I moved to the area, shopping at this Food Lion is a disappointment. They don't keep a good inventory. They have said their trucks are late. Usually the *pet* section isn't properly stocked and cans are shuffled around. Very messy. I wanted to give this store 3stars,but they are a little better since covid-19. Food Lion does have some high quality meats and good selection of cold meals.
