Horrible. Whoever took ownership to Folio Weekly recently, needs to be evaluated because they're just bullies now and now they have a whole section of people trying to make something of themselves and bullying them by putting them on this magazine and making fun of them.. how old are we? that's not inspiring , it's disgusting. we're supposed to be living authentically and clearly someone in ownership here is still stuck in 1990 being a hater bully!!
Alternative newsweeklies have all but disappeared. This incarnation of the Folio Weekly of days gone by is just sad... uninteresting boring. Change the name. Its something else now.... This isnt OUR Folio Weekly.

Highly political since 2020 (change of ownership) and very little substance. Many claims and statements have incorrect or complete lack of citation. If you like inexperienced journalists/writers that support your own views, then this you’ll enjoy their content. I’d consider hiring experienced journalists to substantiate the quality of work and fact checking.
Would be a really great local magazine if their publisher, John Phillips, didn’t influence the articles that are written and published to try and take down his personal enemies.
Folio Weekly 2.0 Magazine has a 2.9 star rating with 24 reviews.
