Lazy and rude staff. knowing a family member is in the room with patient, there is no sense of urgency for anything/any emergency.
This place is terrible. If I could give negative stars I would. This place did not provide the best care for my dad and I hate I didn’t do more research. Patients are just sitting in wheelchair everywhere. Nurses be on cellphone with patients next to them. They don’t clean patients well . my dad developed a wound under his arm and the DON had a nerve to say it’s because his arm don’t move. He been this way for 6 years and never had one. I had power of attorney for a friend of mine there. I shared that POA with her granddaughter. The family wanted to bring her home and gave no notice to Focused Care. A nurse practitioner there said there are certain steps to take before they can release her and they would do those steps. Within an hour my friend was taken from Focused Care by the family.
