In my mid 20s I came in for a new debit card. The older woman there with the corner office kept pushing and pushing me to get a credit card. I felt very manipulated into saying yes and she made it seem like if I left without a credit card I would be making a huge mistake. It felt like I couldn’t leave with my debit card unless I said yes. I’m not sure why this location has under 4 stars - maybe just because it’s a bank? I went in to get a cashiers check written last week around lunch and the 2 people at the front were extremely kind, happy to help, and effective. I’ll also note, I’ve had a fantastic experience with FNBO’s customer service phone-line. Just overall very happy with this bank.
I used to love this bank. However, over the past several months I have seen a decline in accuracy and commitment to service. It is very sad because they used to be stellar. I think the bank put in a new computer system and while it might be helping someone, it is not allowing good or accurate customer service. How can you lose a cash deposit?
