This is for the South Tampa location. I'll jump on the band wagon of folks who say avoid this bike shop because of terrible customer relations and inflated pricing. The guy in charge during the day completely blew me off as I tried to make conversation about bikes and service. No greeting, smile, offer to help, nothing.....except short responses to my questions accompanied with a rude demeanor. Confused by negativity – I wrote a review for Flying Fish as I've had nothing but positive experiences there. They have two locations so I wanted to make sure my positive review showed up here as well.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs! – Absolutely, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their work takes forever and is way overpriced. The total increased by $14 dollars when I picked up my bike. A call to check on the bike was received by attitude. Excuse me! A business like this is customer driven BUT they don't seem to understand this concept. So, do yourself a favor and go to the Trek store a few minutes down the road... or anywhere else for that matter.

bought a product that didn't work for me, they wouldn't exch – Over the weekend I purchased GU sports drink at Flying Fish and went out on a long run. I've never had probs with those drinks but this one tasted horrible to me. Today I took it back and asked if we could exchange for something else. I was told "once it's opened we can't sell it". They failed to realize that they maybe would lose $10 on the product, but would have made a happy customer. I plan to buy a road bike in the near future and lots of gear. I will return... read more

Don't Look at the Rating, Read the Review – A while back, I went to Dud Thames Bike Shop to purchase a Bike. Some of the staff was quite pleasant, a couple were were quite rude. They didnt let me purchase a bicycle, but instead sold me some smaller items. This did not seem like a good business decision to me. Bicycle shop staff is quite attractive, but some of them are dumb as rocks. avoid at all costs – I changed my girlfriends tube in her tire, it went flat right away, I had to leave town, so she brought it to DUD Thames shop to get it fixwed while I was out of town. There was definitley something in the tire that caused the tube to be punctured so quickly. She passed that information on to the bike shop, and they replaced her tube,obviously without taking heed to the information that my girlfriend gave them.
