Both of my parents have been living at Floyd House for about 2 yrs now. They are very comfortable there. Mom said from the minute she walked in this was the place she wanted to be at! The atmosphere is very homey and the staff are all very kind, supportive, loving people that have taken great care of them. The food is amazing! About every few months Floyd house hosts a dinner/ special event inviting all family members to attend. A relative of mine is a resident of the Floyd House . I did not even know this assisted living place existed in Sergeant Bluff until the family researched where to temporarily place their loved one until she gained strength. I was impressed from the beginning with the staff being attentive and helpful. It seemed like one big family under this roof. Residents leave their doors open (if they wish) and other residents stop by to say hello (reminded me of my college days in the dorms….lol). The facility is very clean with a home... read more
