I stayed at this cesspool of a hotel in December 2025. When we checked in, OMG, very scary & miserable woman with a really bad attitude was at the front desk. It felt like she was angry with us because she worked there. The Hampton-Deptford does NOT clean the rooms daily. You pretty much have to track somebody down for clean towels, clean sheets, tissues, etc. off their cleaning carts. We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights earlier this month. Our son was staying in another room and had a problem with bites on his hands and wrists on the first and second night. Noticing "lint-like" specs on the sheets after that, he scooped up the "lint" and put it in the water-filled sink and noticed that these specs were swimming, so most likely bed bugs. He requested his room be changed. The manager claimed that he said he had an allergy to the sheets, which he did not say. If so, why would changing rooms make a diff... read more

Nice hotel, great location, but arriving at 2:30 pm, which was too early as check-in was at 3 pm, I waited, but my room was only given to me at 4 pm. Unacceptable for this category of hotel and for the price paid.

We stayed here while there for a funeral our room the heat didn't work and there wasn't enough blankets to keep you warm!!! I paid a 167 dollars for 2 people for one night they didn't even offer a discount !!! That was SHITTY I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS THERE ONLY WORRIED ABOUT THE PAYMENT! AND ALL SHE KEPT SAYING WAS ILL GET MAINTENANCE TO LOOK AT IT. WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY! 167 DOLLARS NO HEAT AND NO APOLOGY JUST WORRIED ABOUT THE PAYMENT!!! PURE GREEDY! STAY ELSEWHERE!!!

Dee was the woman who greeted us, which she was wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for people travel on business or like us for personal travel. We stayed two nights because of Harry Patel, which I must say was a wonderful treat. Dee was fantastic - thank you very much Dee. Dr. Kirk Alderman Ruskin, FL

I have been a Hilton Honors member for a few years and currently I am a gold level member. I primarily stay in Hilton based hotels whenever possible on my travels throughout Canada. Last week my father in law's health turned quickly and I had to cancel my reservation in short notice for that evening. After years of being on Honors member you think you would be given some accommodation. The employee who answered the phone offered no flexibility and said the room will be charged as this is policy rules. Shame on you Hampton In... read more
