Florilegium is one of the coolest, most delightfully strange stores you’ll ever wander into. I didn’t buy anything on my last visit, but that was only because my self-control briefly kicked in—I fully plan to return. It’s packed with antiques, textiles, beads, yarns, wildly creative ideas, and yes… the coolest kaleidoscopes ever. Psychedelic bohemian art installation slash knitting store, florilegium is a must stop for anyone perusing the weston strip. Great selection, service, and prices, but it is almost exclusively knitting focused. If embroidery or quilting is your wheelhouse, you won’t find much, other than inspiration.
PROs: Great place. Friendly and helpful staff. Huge selection of yarns of all types. Prices are reasonable. You'll definitely leave with something whether you needed it or not. I'm thankful there was a chair for my hubby to sit in (while he rested his eyes ;-) as I shopped. Unique jewelry charms from other countries. CONs: So much to look through with so little time.
Beautiful store full of every trim fir sewing your heart desires! Yarn as well. Lovely owners, very accommodating. Weston is a charming town full of cute interesting shops.
