Great Selection and very good Prices! – I went to Floor Expo after a couple of months of searching in other places. I was interested in brazilian cherry engineered wood so coming into the store I knew exactly what price range to expect. I found the perfect match for the floors already in my living room and got the best price for a high quality product. Helpful Owner – I was at Floor Expo two days ago and tried to find a match for the hardwood floor I currently have in my house. The owner of Floor Expo was very helpful and able to find a close match for the sample I brought. He even asked whether I still have the box of the hardwood and can help me to find it. Two days later I was back to the store and had the product name and product number with me. The owner called me back in 10 minutes and found the hardwood I need. Another good experience – I recently bought laminate floor from Floor Expo a year after I purchased ceramic files from them for my bathroom. Both times I had a good experience with the sales person (Ron) and the service was good. He took the time to explain and answer my questions. The after sale follow-up was good and the scheduled delivery and installation was on time. The installers were professional and done a very nice job. You have many other choices – I urge you to please, please, please go to any other store than a Floor Expo chain. They will take your money and leave you waiting. I purchased granite countertops and a backsplash from them with the promise it would be installed within 3-4 weeks. 5 weeks later, I had to delay my move into my new house since they had still not installed the items. Liars liars! – The first time around 6 years ago I had good experience when they installed carpet and tiles in my house. This year I went there to get tiles for get my shower area retiled. I ordered tiles but when I brought them home the tiles didn't look good in combination with floor tiles so I decided to return. Top flooring company – I had a great experience with Floor Expo who installed wood floors and tile throughout my entire house. The sales rep was very well versed and the quality of the installation was some of the best I have seen in a while. They put wood on my steps as well and the workmanship was first rate. They showed up on time, installed promptly and in a courteous manner and cleaned up after themselves. All flooring companies use 3rd party contractors, its just the luck of the draw. Unprofessional installation and dishonest sales rep. Avoid Floor Expo – I am totally dissapointed with the service provided by Floor Expo, Plano. I got wood fllooring done in couple of rooms at my home. I signed a contract to purchase wood with the installation. I don't particularly like the quarter rounds, so i requested to have the base boards removed and then put back. I agreed to purchase new baseboards if necessary. The sales person (C. Worst contractor experience I've ever had. When the contractor did show up he was 4 hours late most of the time. I took off work for a day to be there during the installation, the contractor didn't show up until 4 p.m. and had the wrong materials with him. It took me a total of 3 weeks to get the installation started and finished. I spent over $4000 with Floor Expo and when I had problems with the sale associate and the quality of the installation the owner of this business wouldn't even return my calls to discuss it.
