ANOTHER UPDATE… they have moved the bus stop from where commissioner Avenue begins to the park. Much further down the street closer to Wellington. BUT, this depends on the busdriver. ALSO, the city informed me that the buses are being fined because they do not have permission to park beside a construction site. PLUS, I have seen FlixBus drop off passengers on the corner of Sparks and Bay streets. Despite the negative reviews, my experience wasn’t as bad as I expected. I took the 7 AM departure from Ottawa to Toronto Union Station. As promised during booking, there were only two quick stops en route. Although my departure stop was changed twice, I was notified via email. Unfortunately, there was no customer service number to confirm the changes, and the online chat support was not very helpful, as the consultant seemed confused about my departure stop. Do not take accountability for their business seats being broken or water falling onto your head. Even after speaking with customer service. Not good customer service at all and surely not a good smooth trip due to water in the bus dropping on everyones head from the upper cabins, a seat being broken and falling onto another passenger and all of this to bear during a 7 hour trip and journey but oh well customer service does not want to do anything about the inconvenience and incident. 1. The number displayed on the bus is NOT the same as what I received in the confirmation from Flix. 2. The outlet was broken. It feels like they know it but choose to ignore it since forever. 3. Exmetremly tiny leg space. I'm 5'3 " and still struggle, so idk how taller people deal with it. 4. The toilet is a mess, even when the doors are closed, I can still smell it from my seat. 5. Use a different company this one is a scam. Failed to provide the correct pickup address multiple times, missed the initial bus and had to repurchase a ticket for a different bus. Nearly didn’t get on that bus because they overbooked it.
