You have a choice here: a very active social life or a quieter lifestyle, just taking it easy. It is great having so many friends as soon as you open your front door. It has everything we could have wanted: the ocean just two minutes away, the PX and commissary, and beautiful, safe surroundings. Our son and daughter visited and thought it was just great!

I chose Fleet Landing after talking to some of the residents. This is a tight-knit and upbeat place. I have never been more active or in better physical shape. I am involved in four different exercise classes, which has done wonders for my health and my ability to enjoy activities I could not do before, such as run in 5K races. Move in while you are still young enough to enjoy all the activities here!

Dr. Cantrell was our family doctor before she went to Fleet Landing full-time. When my grandmother needed a skilled nursing facility, we moved her from south FL to Fleet Landing in JAX because of Dr. Cantrell. I wish Dr. Cantrell had a practice outside of Fleet Landing so that we could continue to use her as our family physician. She takes the time to listen and understand her patients' concerns and is pro-active in providing treatment.

Fleet Landing is outstanding. My mother was there for over 3 years and we visited her everyday. We frequently (self and daughters) had meals and enjoyed the private dining room with family when in town. My mother made many friends, including the staff, loved the activities, special events and especially friends and family. She was able to keep her beloved cat (in her room) which made the transition easier. I liked that assisted living and skilled nursing were on a ground floor and connected.
