I had a legit direct deposit into my checking account and the bank closed my account and sent it back to the IRS. I will never do business with this bank again and I urge all of you to bank elsewhere. Edit: They will respond to these comments all day but will not help you. Clear your accounts with this bank and move on! I reviewed businesses across the country and this one is very bad!
Have had accounts there since it opened, maybe 20 years. First ten, pretty terrific, like you would expect from a neighborhood bank. Last few years...awful. With the exception of one familiar person, everytime I go in, I do not recognize one person. I feel like a stranger in a bank I have used for a very long time. I am probably switching to Comerica which is located between me and Flagstar.
