I want to share the wonderful experience I had at Flagstar Bank today with Judy the Mgr at 14 mile and Farmington Rd in West Bloomfield. After spending four days with a different banking institute, I was given the runaround for a simple direct deposit form to be completed. I went into Flagstar and was so pleased with the time and patience Judy took with assisting me. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding my experience with the Flagstar branch located at 33390 W 14 Mile Rd, West Bloomfield, MI 48322, which is managed by Judy. I maintained a relationship with Flagstar for approximately one year, during which two of my accounts were opened incorrectly. This issue was later confirmed by another Flagstar branch manager, who explained that the accounts should never have been opened without the proper documentation. I had a legit direct deposit into my checking account and the bank closed my account and sent it back to the IRS. I will never do business with this bank again and I urge all of you to bank elsewhere. Edit: They will respond to these comments all day but will not help you. Clear your accounts with this bank and move on! I reviewed businesses across the country and this one is very bad!
Have had accounts there since it opened, maybe 20 years. First ten, pretty terrific, like you would expect from a neighborhood bank. Last few years...awful. With the exception of one familiar person, everytime I go in, I do not recognize one person. I feel like a stranger in a bank I have used for a very long time.
