Tried using Flagstar for a bit versus the big banks where I also have accounts like Chase and BofA. However, this bank (not branch specifically) is amateur hour. Their entire system has been down for two days—debit cards aren’t working; can’t transfer funds; can’t pay bills. No heads up from them: no courtesy email saying what’s wrong or when things will be fixed. Their customer service number is 2+ hour wait. I need help. I've had a first lien HELOC since 2020. Upon the sale of my loan to Mr. Cooper, my account has experienced 100's of undefined transactions, totaling a depletion of my equity of over $165,000. I’ve been working with 4 Flagstar locations over the past 15 years at different home and business addresses. The staff at this location regularly goes out of their way to accommodate my small business requests. Sometimes, I have to pester them with small requests frequently, but I’ve received nothing but positive professional service. I refer everyone to Flagstar and especially the Big Beaver one for this reason
