I went in and opened an account there a few weeks ago, that process was a bit complicated and the associate was newer so we were being more patient, we finished the process and went on our way. The account number that was written on all my documentation and checked off as the “checking” account, was actually the number of the savings account that was opened the same day. I’ve been with this flagstar since I’ve had a banking account. Since flagstar switched their credit card “responsibilities” over to FNBO, I have had to do a password reset every single time I have to log in, because my passwords don’t save for them for some reason?? Not to mention their customer service not even having my email on file despite having a person over the phone reset my password and make sure my email is on file 3 TIMES!!!! I literally have no way of paying off my credit card besides waiting on the phone for 30 ... read more

I switched to Flagstar Bank a few years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made. The personalized service I receive makes me feel that this bank actually cares, very different from my experiences at other banks. Best banking experience around!
