I was recommended to this branch when I was working with a Rockland Auto dealer. I decided to go with a deal closer to me in Auburn but still used this Ancorum CU Branch. What a great decision. Not only was there rate .31% better than anyone including national lenders. Ashely was such a help and knowledgeable about the loan and services. Obviously, there is a great customer service culture built with the staff and it shows. Kuddos to the CU and I will be recommending and using them in the future!
At the Rockland branch Ashley, the loan officer was very very helpful! Very patient in explaining everything to me and taking her time and not rushing me. Warm friendly face to see when I came in.
Was new to the area and was looking for a local credit union. Stopped by was treated very rudely and dismissively. They would not accept either of my IDs for a shared branching transaction - they have a policy prohibiting tellers from using passports, and they also refuse newly-issued and newly-renewed Maine drivers licenses. They wouldn't even break a $50 bill without summoning the manager and lecturing me on their branch-specific policies about how tellers are forbidden from doing lots of things that normal credit unions d... read more
