I’ve been a member for many years. Five County has done nothing to help, each time I needed help. The first time was when my significant other passed away from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I was denied a loan and forced to close a CD, with a penalty over $5,000. Another time I was stranded in Arizona and wanted to borrow off the remaining CD. After numerous calls and lack of experience and three days passing with no answers, I was again forced to close my CD, with a penalty over $2,000. They locked out all old debit cards because we were supposed to receive new ones in the mail this month. I got no notice (or the emails got so buried in my inbox amongst all the junk, an automated phone call would've solved this issue a lot of people clearly had) that this was going to happen so I almost got stranded on the side of the road when I tried to use my card to get gas. How the hell they will lock out cards before a new one is activated is absolutely a horrific thing to do.

Where do we start. I come in ask to get a pdf or copy of a account I was under the impression was closed.the teller said it will not be able to get that information. It’s possible it’s purged. 🤔 it was supposed to be closed 13 months ago. I asked if a manager was able to find it, Robin came out and swore it could not be found.
