I am NOT impressed with Five Below anymore. I work a few doors down and I go there about once a month to go get a snack and a drink. The selection is great, but the checkout experience is awful! There are signs taped over the “skip” button to bypass the email signup. They are LITERALLY extorting customers to sign up for the emails. THEY CAN’T DO THAT!!! They are taking away the customer’s decision to bypass the email signup! Shame on you, guys!!!
There was a sign taped to the self checkout screen covering the button to bypass entering in your email. The employee said "that's corporate's way of getting more emails, nothing I can do about it"
