l like this place and basically all the staff (especially the great manager) but what really ruins it is Ray’s attitude… not only to myself but many different members, I’ve heard from several different members about him and I can’t believe he has been working there for years! Is he related to someone…? I’ve heard many people talk to management about him but he is still there…
I’ve been working out in gyms all around the world and this one is definitely up there. Even if it’s a smaller one, the equipment is excellent and they have a good variety. The staff is super friendly and supportive and the culture overall very welcoming! Would definitely go back, whenever I’m in the area!
Best in the East! The staff are amazing! The facility is super clean! Classes were exceptional! We were visiting Hilo for a week & paid for a week pass. So grateful for an amazing gym experience for the week. Special shout outs for: Jaxon (greeted us, gave us a tour & answered all questions about the gym / Big Island)... he is a true gem for the gym. I hesitated for years to join this gym because of the high membership cost, but after recently joining I’m so happy I did. If you take advantage of the classes (Lauren Brown’s is my personal fave) it really makes it worth it. Overall the vibe is super friendly, low key and almost family style. They’re super on it with keeping the gym clean and you get your own personal bathroom instead of locker rooms.
