traditional quality Fitch Lumber grew and adpted as the town of Carrboro became absorbed by the UNC crowd. It now operates like a smaller version of Lowes or Home Depot, catering to the wealthy yuppies instead of the good old boys of yore. You can still get your nails and boards but it's more like a real store than a piney smelling lumber yard. Fitch builds houses too, and has just about everything you need to build or repair your own. Located opposite Carr Mill.
Union Baptist Church Couples Ministry I appreciate the small business atmosphere at Fitch Lumber & Hardware. I have made a few purchases and found the employees to be very helpful and the products satisfactory. I recommend them to others.
