After 8 days post op major brain tumor resection surgery, my hope was for a pleasant relaxing experience. I arrived at 3 pm and tried to explain my situation for a half hour foot rub. Was just there last week for a foot massage and it was great but unfortunately I will not be returning as when I handed the lady $10.00 tip which was 20% of the cost she pointed to a sign on wall of suggested tip amounts. So because I suffer from extreme anxiety I gave her another 10.00 . I will not be going here anymore. I also want to say after i did that the man at front desk gave me 3 waters and an apple juice. I have gotten several foot and back massages here throughout the years. My problem was afterwards I tipped over 23 percent and my massager pointed to a tip display that wasn't there when I arrived that stated "medium" strength would be a 30 percent tip!!!!!!!! After I gave him his 22 percent tip, he pointed to the strength which was medium, which I did not ask for. I am so upset by my experience. I have heard such great things about this place and was truly disappointed. The workers seemed like they did not want to be there for starters and the lady that did my feet was the worst foot massage I’ve ever had. I mean no disrespect but she moved so slow and very sloth like, I’m not sure if her hands were hurting her but there was no effort put into the massage. Very calming, relaxing place with extremely friendly staff. I got the combo with 30 minute chair massage and 30 minute foot massage. I felt so good afterwards. The pressure was firm without being too hard. I was offered a drink before and after which was a nice touch. Make a reservation just in case.
