I opened a savings account back in August. I didn't realize I'd left my ID there. I'd looked everywhere for it. I went to the bank 2 days ago to deposit money into my account, and one of the bankers there, Katherine Wiseman, remembered me instantly and got my ID for me. She's a really nice lady and she's very helpful with me. The bank has excellent and fast service.
Problems at decherd location
always helpful always friendly always answers the phone with a real person...and that's rare these days
First, they helped me through an issue of my debit card being compromised. Second, the staff has always been top notch in customer service and knowledge, especially Melinda at the drive-thru.
Purchased our first home with this bank. At first the loan officer at First Bank was very friendly and helpful when trying to explain how the home loan process worked since we were 100% new at buying a home. But over the months started to become extremely short, rude and acted completely annoyed at any questions, or concerns we had. The loan officer would NEVER return phone calls or emails. We had to constantly just walk into the bank to actually talk with this person and then was greeted with a forced fake smile and treated... read more
