Well, first I should say it's not the banks fault. I've been a customer for almost 20 years. I have watched 1St Bank turn from a customer service based Bank to a bank where I felt uncomfortable. I did not complain when tellers were rude, when it was difficult to withdraw money or even when my online password never worked. I just kept banking there because of my laziness. Walked in to get a A notary first was asked. Do you have an account with us ???better stating you’re not welcome here without one …as I do have an account I was told they couldn’t do the notary without the signature. That’s what I’m here to do. It's just awful that a local bank decided to start charging decade+ long, loyal customers a $15 monthly fee ,for not keeping a balance of $1500.00 each day. Junk fees on your loyal customers? Thank goodness a credit union I know of isn't like that. Starting to hold funds for 3-7-10 days before a payment made to me becomes mine. What happened to firstbank? Colorado bank for you? What a load of ****.
I have been a member of First Bank for over 25 years in good standing and have had over 100k in the bank ,at that time even the President called me to try to get me to invest it for their benefit, I have never asked for anything and I asked for a loan of 6,000 and was denied when I have an EXCELLENT credit rating, you would think banking with a company for over 25 years and you asked for a measly loan they could accommodate you but they don't so if you're looking to open a new bank account long-term I suggest you look elsewh... read more
