This is from a while ago but I am still frustrated. The worst experience I ever received in a bank. Ultimately, I am an out of state student so I do not have an account at the institution with my bank being back home in Iowa this is the closest bank to my apartment. My apartment does not have a change machine and being denied 2 rolls of querters in exchange for a 20 dollars is absolutely ridiculous (same amount of money different domination). The First Western branch in Baxter, MN has caused us to lose our business endeavor with thousands of dollars already invested. After months of being misled about their position for financing our project, lack of First Western’s banker competency and staffing shortage (according to the Market President) left us in a critical position with no time to pursue other avenues.
