I worked there a few years and would still be working there if I could still walk. It was a great place to work. It's a place where you transport elderly and people with disabilities and they have pick up and drop off times but those changes. The dispatchers try to get to them as quickly as possible. That is a hard job. Name of facility has changed to Transdev. First Transit is no longer at this location, but still has similar contracts. Training for new hire NON CDL drivers is about 14 days; includes tests. Union membership required for drivers. Other positions also available. Staff seems friendly and helpful. Lots of rules and policies to remember. Seems like not everyone follows them, but safety is a priority.
