I am not a FTB account holder, I went to the bank to cash a FTB check and they refused to do it without a fee. I called the customer service number and they told me there was nothing they could do. The Arlington location doesn’t have a fee.... take the drive to the Arlington location they have way better customer service.
This is a follow up to a December, 2017 review I made in which I was made to come into the store after having been diagnosed with the flu after I went through the drive through to cash a check (I am not a FTB account holder) in hopes they would cash it there so I wouldn’t have to drag my then 5 month and 2 year old out of the car being so sick...my employer now has an account at Wells Fargo where they don’t charge non-account holders of businesses to cash payroll checks.
