My kids have rode on First Student buses from kindergarten all the way through eighth grade and I’ve never had a problem with any bus driver or anyone in Dispatch, we loved having you guys as our kids bus drivers and now that my kids are on Dayton public buses. It’s just absolutely horrible. So thank you First Student. I definitely miss you guys.
I haven't been here for a long time, however; when I did go, everyone was so kind and polite. I went back 2 days ago and it was so ridiculously sad! The people/volunteers, were very cruel to me and others. It was very sad because this is supposed to be a service to help those in need and or having a hardship. For example, the volunteers were sadly having large families with children pick out 1-2 items per table when a lot of us saw them sneaking a lot of extras to family/friends they knew. I need someone to help me understand how this situation can happen. My child was supposed to be dropped off at 3:37 p.m. however her bus did not get to the stop until shortly after 4p and although someone was standing at the stop, they slowed down and kept going. I was immediately jumped in the car and tried to flag the bus down and yet they kept going. I cant for the life of me understand working adults who refuse to use professionalism. Communication is on the weak side for the individuals who work here. They don't value the time of the parents or the safety of the children they transport. Made a call for clarification and also to express my children being dropped off for the first time in 3 years on a busy intersection. I was transferred.. and my call backs ignored . Professionalism is low in Dayton even when children are involved.
