Tried cashing my check yet again this week and every time I go to first State community Bank in imperial they want to call my boss at his house to verify. I've done this over and over and over again at the same bank. It does not happen at first State community Bank in festus nor the one in Hillsboro. Brylan has been the the employee that has waited on the each time. Highly disappointed no wonder I don't have an account here
I’ve had exactly one issue with customer service between 4 different branches over the 6ish years I’ve banked here, my issues are technical and logistic. The breaking point was the inability to access my bank with my new job. This bank is local, which is great! Except they have 0 branches in St Louis north of Arnold. And any nearby branches are only open 8-5 M-F, which, conveniently, are standard working hours for many people. Mitch is THE BEST! He has went out of his way several times in the past 15 years of my banking here! He is THE REASON I stay banking here! ☮️
Unfortunately this place has gone way down hill over the past few years. The employees are overworked and rude…every time I have come in the past few occasions there’s been some sort of issue that everyone is stressed out about, either with a customer, or amongst themselves. Either way, it’s unprofessional and (while I cannot speak for others) puts a type of tension in the air that makes you feel anything but welcomed.
