I read the bitter reviews and thought that is all they are. I have been banking with First State for two decades. I’ve banked with the other banks and credit unions in Lucedale (all but one) and I can honestly say the group of folks in the Lucedale branch are the best I’ve ever worked with. I have a business too and they’re very professional and go out of their way to be of service! If you are looking for a bank that cares about it's people look somewhere else. This place is one of the most unethical and unprofessional places I have ever worked for or dealt with. The human resource department will not be of any assistance and if you go to her with a problem she will likely tell you to get over it or find the door. Management thinks they are untouchable and will make your life miserable and will take no ownership in their mistakes.
