We were customers of First Savings Bank for over 50 years. When I heard they were bought out by First Merchants I was worried it would be a mess. It took effect yesterday and I was shocked! It went off without a hitch! I’m really impressed and looking forward to banking with them.
Been with first federal for years. now that it’s first merchants bank. I will be closing my account and switching banks soon this changing to first merchants cost me money . They don’t care about the old first federal savings customers at all.
App is useless and physical locations are closed on Saturday hopefully you don't need your money outside of the hour they allow
I can’t ever get any actual halo with my account from this place and something is always going wrong with the app or my card. Every time something happens I feel like it’s a wild goose chase just to get it fixed. No complaints on the actual employees they’re wonderful but I’m definitely going somewhere else because this is ridiculous.
