My son and I stayed there a year ago, they are great, keeping in mind that they have some more stringent rules like needing to be there most nights and in for the night by 9 unless working or prior arrangements have been made, they do this because it's the best way to benefit the people who are, and really want to be and their children. The woman at this facility who claims to be the coordinator for this place is just awful. I was misinformed a few days prior to this evening that I was allowed to visit with my family at the annex. This woman tonight was beyond rude and confrontational with me. Although she never raised her voice, Instead of letting me explain why we misunderstood and that I wasn't staying, she went off about how she's the coordinator. Wouldn't listen to a word. We enjoyed our time with First Place, the people who worked there at that time were great & that’s why I hurt to say this . You padded for a plane ticket for my daughter-in -law to get her girlfriend out to Eugene, she committed fraud with you & with Womens space
Worst family shelter ive ever stayed at.
I still tell everyone how Hope and Summer said this place isn't safe. I'm glad I found a home, and the shelter I went to afterwards was so kind and helpful. I felt so bad for the employees there because there were some who were thinking they may be there next too. It's been a few years, but I still think about how they told a 12 year old that there shelter was not safe and I don't want anyone to go there, go somewhere different, go somewhere safe.
