Customer service people are terrible!! Good to work with to get a loan, but terrible after that!
They are always so friendly and knowledgeable each and every employee. They treat me like family. I’ve been a very happy customer since 2008.
I have been a customer for 15 years, primarily due to laziness since so many accounts are already connected here. But if I could do it again, I wouldn’t. They charge you $5 if you overdraft checking and the money comes out of your savings anyways. They don’t have Zelle (they promised it was “coming soon” six months ago lmao), and you cannot use your FNCU debit card to add money to your Venmo wallet. The technology here is abysmal.
Best thing I could have ever done. This branch is awesome, I have a great support team Maclicia and Salvador. Ashlon is from the Evanston branch she awesome too. I just want to thank them all for their patience, recommendations and kindness. Low interest rates, they encourage you when you feel like giving up. I happy to be apart of First Northern Credir Union.
I’ve been with First Northern Credit Union for over 10 years, and I can’t say enough good things about them. They treat you like a person, not just a credit score. The level of customer service I have received from Longe and Sandy is exceptional, personal, attentive, and consistent. They truly believe in building long-term relationships with their members. It’s rare to find a financial institution that combines professionalism with a personal touch, but First Northern does it seamlessly. Highly recommend!
