Refinanced my commercial mortgage with Bank of Elmer with Michael Penk to get my interest rate down. Since I was already paying an early payoff fee to my old bank, my wife and I specifically asked Mike at closing if there would be an early payoff fee associated with this mortgage if we were to refi again or sell the property. Its 2022... Not 1950. We expect our bank to be open instead of closing on a day that IS NOT a holiday. Taking the day off on the day after new years is some 20th century lazy banker stuff. Wake up.
Had a fraudulent $200 charge on my account. Reported it to the fraud prevention within an hour of it showing up on my account through the app. I wanted them to stop the payment from coming out, so I reported my card as missing IMMEDIATELY that night upon finding the fraudulent charge. I called the bank in the morning to tell them about the charge and that my card was shut off and to NOT pay that PENDING charge and they STILL paid it later that day sending my account in a spiral!
