I was a customer of this bank for nearly 20 years, going all the way back to when it was First State Bank, then First National Bank, and now Investar Bank. For most of that time, I had zero issues—until the latest transition. Since becoming Investar Bank, they’ve introduced fees on accounts that had been free for decades. Every other purchase I try to make gets declined because they think its fraud. The fraud system they use takes forever to get back to you. The people are great but the system is terrible.
