Staff is friendly and helpful. However, FnB somehow gave/sold my name, birthday, and SS number to a digital and physical marketing and communications vendor(Marquis Software Solutions) who had a cybersecurity incident(hacked) and found that my personal information was copied/stolen. I went to my local branch to inquire as to why/how my information ended up with a marketing firm(without my knowledge) and why I wasn't notified by FnB. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about. They must of just had that one bad experience. I've dealt with this bank for over 10 years. The staff is great, friendly, and helpful. As far as fees, that's FNB policy not the staff, and is usually spelled out before you sign up for anything. And YOU agree to it! We all screw up, it shouldn't be the banks responsibility to cover it up for you.
These employees will smile at you at community events then rob you blind under the guise of simply doing their jobs. With friends like these, who needs enemies? Shameful that in a community such as Hatteras Island, the people at this bank are willing to take people's hard-earned money. Practicing shady banking tactics then placing the blame on their victims. They take advantage of people's good nature then play dumb when they're called out for it. Yall should be real proud of yourselves.
