My overall experience with Sunflower has not been good. It feels like every time I transact with them, they have something more pressing to do, even though there isn't a soul in there except me. Also, I was promised a free cheking acount if I maintained a certain balance, yet i was hit with $12 in fees every month. I moved my $$ to Pioneer Bank , and I love it!
Do not bank here. After two years of closing my accounts I get a letter and a check for $2 for some part fee charge to my closed accounts. You would be better off putting the money in your mattress Do not bank here. They are no longer a local bank. They have switched ownership so many times that that failed to transfer auto payments. Now that it is Sunflower I was hit with all kinds of fees. I was even hit for not using the account which I had for a rainy day. This is a terrible bank. Most recently they incorrectly entered a wire transfer of much money. They have left me stranded without access to my bank card because they did not enter my travel dates correctly. I get put and don't have calls returned when there is a problem. Online banking is a joke.
