I had wonderful experiences when this was BlackHawk Bank. Now that midfirst took over they have slowly removed all the benefits I had, like they removed refunded ATM fees from other bank's atms and actually ADDED an extra fee for using any other atm. I recently got a "maintenence fee" after THEY changed my account from a free interest earning account with no minimum balance (i had this account for over 15years) to an account that requires a 5k minimum balance to earn interest and have any benefits. Always pleasant and helpful staff. I’ve been coming since it was Blackhawk Bank. I think the transition was smooth on the customer side. I’m sure it was challenging on the teams side but they didn’t let it affect their service. Updated- I never really had a problem with the bank until I was told my checks that I already paid for previously under Blackhawk Bank can no longer be used and First Mid does not help to replace the checks. Why should I lose my money from wasted checks just because the bank was bought out.

I was appointed executor for my cousin’s trust. This role is already challenging but was made more so by Morgan. Poor response to emails in a timely fashion, not catching all the accounts despite having the death certificates during our meeting, not doing the work expected and instead needing her coworkers to clean it up as she was moved to another branch-which btw she neglected to share when I said I was making the 1 hour drive down to handle.
