They just started an 8 dollar "service charge" on checking. Im getting out as soon as I can. This is pure greed.
It's a bank. We had no problems. Friendly staff.
Automatically upgraded my free checking account to one that has a monthly fee. Said I could keep the free checking account only if I went into a branch and requested it. Stay away from these guys, there are so many other banks to choose from.
Miss the Blackhawk Bank experience. Customer service gets the job done but have had an issue with notifications being mailed to wrong address on file and account being sent to unclaimed property. Issue was resolved but only after I dropped hints that I would be filing a state complaint if it wasn't resolved at my satisfaction. Bank application has been subpar. Can't pay my car payment from an outside bank. Not online, not over the phone. I have to physically drive there, write them a check or bring cash. Absolutely ridiculous in today's day and age. Their solution was to open an account there and use that account to pay my car payment. Absolutely NOT.
