Miss the Blackhawk Bank experience. Customer service gets the job done but have had an issue with notifications being mailed to wrong address on file and account being sent to unclaimed property. Issue was resolved but only after I dropped hints that I would be filing a state complaint if it wasn't resolved at my satisfaction. Bank application has been subpar. Can't pay my car payment from an outside bank. Not online, not over the phone. I have to physically drive there, write them a check or bring cash. Absolutely ridiculous in today's day and age. Their solution was to open an account there and use that account to pay my car payment. Absolutely NOT.
We have been banking here for close to 20 years. Sad to see all of the negative reviews. I my latest visit the assistant manager and a personal banker helped me get a few things done right up to a past closing. They said they were in no rush because they had a bunch of things to do after closing anyway. They were very pleasant and helpful even though you could tell they were stressed out. It seems like system changes and new ways of doing thing were not rolled out very well. As I lost online banking and am still struggling t... read more
