Absolute trash. Don’t bank here. Teresa was slow as her fatass can be when canceling the account. I could see that she was typing nonsense on her screen and backspacing in on one spot for a good while. It took almost 30 minutes to cancel the account. She was very snobby and unprofessional while doing so. She claimed the account is cancelled. We did our part and transferred our auto pays to our new bank. Everything is good right? Well wrong. Been banking with First Interstate for 4 years now (previously Bank of the Cascades) and I've always been treated with friendly respect. Wither at this branch or any other in the treasure valley. I bring in a bucket of coin monthly and they never complain. They just smile and ask what more they can do for me. I've visited 3 of their branches more than twice, been on the phone with their customer support a handful of times; and they've ALWAYS been professional and helpful.
Great bank with friendly helpful people. I was a customer when they were still Home Federal and I was little concerned about the changeover, especially the online banking. But when they changed, everything went smoothly. Their online banking, which I use almost every day, works so well. It's easy to navigate and do all the transactions I need.
