Use a small, local bank they said... it would be more personal they said... Customer for years with a very healthy banking history with them. I called to get a vehicle financed and got turned down at a 7% interest rate. Three days later, the very next lender I used gave me a 0% interest rate for 60 months, rolled out the red carpet treatment even. The contrast was night and day. I'll be closing all of my business with First Harrison Bank.
